About Doctor Sophie Soltani
Dr. Sophie Soltani is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1995.
Dr. Soltani works with individuals, couples and families, conducts co-parenting counseling, groups for divorced parents and groups for individuals dealing with grief and loss, and also mediates divorce cases. In addition, she offers a variety of workshops which are accredited by American Psychological Association and California Board of Behavioral Science.
A former mediator for Family Court Services and the Domestic Violence Court, Alameda County Superior Court, Dr. Soltani specializes in substance abuse issues and assesses individuals for Health Professional’s Diversion Program, covering eight licensing boards, including the State Bar of California. She is also certified in EMDR and hypnosis.
She is an assistant professor at the doctor of psychology program at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA.
